Tenere Appoints Michael Oberlander VP of Global Operations

Dresser, Wis. – May 17, 2018 – Tenere Inc. (Tenere), a full-service provider of integrated metal and plastic components and assemblies for Fortune 500 companies, has named Michael Oberlander its new Vice President of Global Operations. Oberlander joins Tenere with over 25 years of operations and supply chain leadership experience that will be critical in helping Tenere meet its global strategic goals.

In addition to leading Global Operations for Tenere, Mike will own several strategic initiatives focused on further optimizing Tenere’s ability to integrate prototyping, NPI, and production value streams across our three geographic locations to better service our customers.”

Prior to joining Tenere, Oberlander was the Director of Faucet Operations for Kohler Company where he led and directed multi-site manufacturing operations for Global Faucet products in the Americas. During his time with Kohler, Oberlander implemented key value streams resulting in delivery and assembly productivity improvements and drove supply chain improvements that resulted in improved forecast accuracy and visibility. Previously, he held leadership positions with WMS Gaming, Waterman Industries, and Calumet Coach Company. Oberlander received a Master of Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Numerical Control Programming from Northern Illinois University.
